There's A Gin Bakery Opening And You Have To Visit

Whoever said ‘‘you can’t have your cake and eat it too’’ was clearly wrong because you can, while sipping a G&T! Family-owned business Fentimans have opened up a gin bakery at Pearl and Groove bakery on London’s Portobello Road that you must visit if you love gin and cake.

This weekend ( 21st-23rd September), Fentimans is opening the UK’s first ever Gin Bakery with Sophie Faldo, Great British Bake 2017 winner. Gin lovers who take a trip to the gin bakery will enjoy a delicious gin infused cake made with Fentimans tonic. Each cake will also be served with an expertly paired Gin and Tonic.

Can’t make it to the pop up? Don’t worry you can still enjoy the sheer goodness of the gin bakery from the comfort of your home. Fentimans has developed a series gin and tonic baking recipes that feature their range of mixers. There’s an abundance to choose from including a gin and pink grapefruit tonic cheese cake and botanical tonic bundt cake. Gin and cake? Yes, please!
