McConnell's 5-Year-Old Signature Release Irish Whisky | 70cl, 42% ABV (VE)

A blend of Irish malt and grain whiskies, matured in ex-bourbon casks for five years. First you’ll smell light citrus, oak and vanilla, then when you taste, you'll discover flavours of butterscotch, vanilla, sweet stone fruits and light peppercorn spice.

3 x Simple Syrup 5cl (VE)

Angostura Orange Bitters | 100ml, 28% ABV (VE)

3 x Mini Angostura Cocoa Bitters | 3.7ml, 28% ABV

3 x Mini Angostura Aromatic Bitters | 3.7ml, 28% ABV

How to make your Old Fashioned
INGREDIENTS
• 50ml McConnell's 5-Year-Old Signature Release Irish Whisky
• 10ml simple syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters (Orange for classic - Chocolate or Aromatic for a twist)
• Fresh orange peel, to garnish

METHOD
Add the whiskey, simple syrup and bitters to a mixing glass and fill it with ice. Stir the ingredients and taste every few seconds. Once you're happy with the balance of flavours, strain into a rocks glass and add fresh ice. Garnish and enjoy!
