This gin fizz recipe makes the ultimate summer cocktail!

Refreshingly fizzy and full of fresh citrus and mint aromas, this cocktail recipe from Dartmouth English Gin, our June 2020 Gin of the Month, pops with bright summer sunshine.

The crisp, clean classic London dry flavours of the gin are perfectly matched with lemon’s deliciously distinct balance of sweet and tart tones and the unmatched perfume of fresh mint, making this simple cocktail recipe an English summer delight!

Dartmouth English Gin’s Gin Fizz

Ingredients

50ml Dartmouth English Gin
25ml fresh lemon juice
12.5ml sugar syrup (dissolve 100g of sugar into 100ml of water)
Soda water, to top
A sprig of mint, to garnish
Roll of cucumber, to garnish (optional - you can learn how to garnish like a pro, here!)

Method

Shake the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup together and strain over ice in a highball glass. Top with soda water and garnish with the sprig of mint.
