Perhaps more traditionally associated with whisky, ginger beer is in fact also a fantastic alternative to tonic as a mixer for our favourite spirit - gin! With this quick and easy cocktail recipe, we’ve taken that delicious combination of fiery, warming ginger beer and smooth dry gin, and created a beautifully balanced drink, topped with a creamy layer of foam. Delicious!

Gin & Ginger Sour
50ml gin
25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
Half an egg white
15ml simple syrup (or to taste)
2 dash bitters (optional)
Ginger beer, to top up
Fill your cocktail shaker with ice, then add the gin, lemon juice, egg white and simple syrup. Shake vigorously for a good 10 seconds to make it foamy. Add some fresh ice cubes in your rocks or highball glass and strain your liquid over them. Top with as much ginger beer as desired. Garnish with a wedge of lime and serve.
