Aldi is now selling gin and tonic ice lollies and they are SO GOOD

A new range of alcoholic ice lollies for grown-ups has hit the shelves in Aldi, and of course we’re extra excited because: there’s a gin and tonic one.

When the sun starts coming out and those warm days of early summer finally roll in, we can’t think of anything more perfect than sitting outside with a refreshing booze-infused treat. Realistically, even on a grey and dreary day we’ll still happily indulge, simply because gin is involved.

"Although sunshine may not be guaranteed,” says Aldi spokesman Tony Baines, “our alcoholic popsicles are sure to be a hit with adults across the UK, whatever the weather!"

And a hit they sure are. Gin fans have been going crazy over the treats, scouring their local Aldis for a taste of ice-cold gin perfection. And at only £2.99 for a pack of four, you can seriously stock up.

But the best part? These lollies aren’t just gin and tonic ‘flavoured’ – each one contains 11% gin. This means that they clock in at 4.5% ABV, or basically the same as a pint! Taste delicious, contain actual booze... they're basically perfection.
