Cocktail of the Week: NB Navy Martini

While NB Gin’s Vivienne Muir admits that her husband and Master Distiller, Steve prefers to drink his gin neat - “He hates the concept of cocktails,” she laughs, “basically of anything else going in it!” – she is of a different opinion.

Vivienne loves the NB Navy Strength Gin we sent our members this month in a classic Martini, a view shared by the team at celeb chef Tom Kitchin’s Edinburgh restaurant, who told Vivienne it made one the best Martinis they’d tasted.

NB have also created this subtle twist on the classic version which, with its inclusion of a touch of Cointreau, looks back to older versions of the cocktail. It's a delicious addition to your Martini repertoire in the lead-up to World Martini Day this weekend. Cheers!

NB Navy Martini

50ml NB Navy Strength Gin
10ml Dry Vermouth
10ml Cointreau 

Stir ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with a twist of orange zest.
