Martinez

This classic cocktail, thought to be the precursor to the Martini, is given a delicious twist by using the syrup from the Luxardo Maraschino Cherries we sent members in 2016.

Ingredients:

35ml gin
35ml Sweet vermouth
10ml Luxardo cherry syrup from the jar
1 dash Angostura orange bitters (optional)

Method:

1. Stir all ingredients with ice, serve up in a chilled glass with a Luxardo maraschino cherry as garnish.
