Fresh and invigorating, this cocktail — designed by Maria, our Master Mixologist — captures the bracing beauty of Britain’s waterways in the earliest days of spring. Made with ingredients that Craft Gin Club members can find in their March 2021 Gin of the Month box, it’s an utter delight.

The River Test Distillery Chalkstream Gold, our March 2021 Gin of the Month, is juniper-forward and subtly sweet, with bright, herbaceous notes of rosemary and bay. It works so well with the complex and vibrant orchard-fruit tones of Flawsome! Sweet & Sour Apple and the tang of our bespoke Riverside Sunrise cocktail syrup in this utterly divine cocktail. Finished with apple slices, there’s no better way to see in spring.

Craft Gin Club’s Riverside Sunrise

Ingredients

50ml The River Test Distillery Chalkstream Gold
25ml Riverside Sunrise cocktail syrup
100ml Flawsome! Sweet & Sour Apple
Apple slice, to garnish

Method

Fill a highball glass with ice and add your gin and syrup. Top up with Flawsome! Sweet and Sour Apples. Stir gently and garnish to serve.
