Asda launches sloe gin mince pies for Christmas

Just when you thought Christmas couldn’t get any better, supermarket chain ASDA has taken one of our favourite festive foodie treats, the humble mince pie, and infused it with the fruity, sweet, warming goodness of sloe gin!

The little booze-infused pies sound, frankly, completely mouthwatering; they are described as being “generously filled with spiced vine fruit, a splash of French sloe gin, encased in an all-butter pastry and topped with a sweet sugar dusting.”

The sloe gin mince pies are available at £2 for a pack of six both online and in stores.
