May's Bordiga Occitan Gin is pure perfection with sweet red strawberries. If you're looking for a variation on its perfect serve, this incredible Gin Smash recipe from The Kitchn is it!

Strawberry Gin Smash

Recipe adapted from The Kitchn

1/2 tsp caster sugar
1 lime, cut into wedges
3 strawberries, fresh; 2 hulled and sliced, 1 reserved to garnish
75ml gin
Soda water, chilled
Fresh mint, to garnish

Method:

In a glass, combine sugar and the juice of 1 lime wedge. Muddle until sugar dissolves.
Add sliced strawberries and muddle again.
Pour gin into mixture, add splash of soda water and serve garnished with a strawberry and sprig of mint.
