These Batch whinberry gin cocktails are the taste of the season!

If, like us, you are loving this month's sensational Gin of the Month: Batch Premium Gin, you are going to fall head over heels for their whinberry gin! The whinberries -  widely known as 'bilberries' - are steeped in Batch's premium gin and aged in cognac barrels to give them a wonderful rich and 'plummy flavour! 

The lovely people at Batch have come up with some fabulously festive cocktails using this stunning spirit and we can tell you first hand - they are delicious! 

Whinberry Whizz

Method: 

1. Fill a glass with ice, swirl and drain excess water.
2. Add gin, top up with ginger ale and garnish with a slice of lime.

Ingredients:

50ml of Whinberry Gin
Ginger Ale
Lime peel

Whinberry Fizz

Method:

1. Pour the gin into a champagne flute or a coupe glass.
2. Top up with sparkling wine.

Ingredients:

50ml of Whinberry Gin
Sparkling Wine

Whinberry Winter Warmer

Method:

1. combine all of the ingredients in a pan, heating through until warm
2. Pour into a tumbler or copa glass
3. Garnish with orange, cloves and star anise.

Ingredients:

50ml Whinberry Gin
25ml Cointreau
50ml cranberry juice
Cloves, cinnamon stick & star anise garnish
