From the moment the first Maori steered their canoes onto the shores of New Zealand, the inhabitants of this beautiful island nation have had an unquenchable thirst for adventure. And, surrounded by some of the most stunning natural beauty in the world, it’s not hard to see how exploration and adventure worked their way into New Zealand’s national DNA.

It’s that same spirit that runs through Old Mout’s four fabulous flavours of cider. Inspired when Kiwi Wanda Tait first tasted cider on a cycling trip through Somerset, Old Mout was initially named Old Moutere, after the beautiful valley where Wanda set up shop way back in 1947. For years she produced local cider behind the counter of her shop, until two adventurers arrived to take her beloved beverages to the next level. 

When Justin and Scottie came across Old Mout, they ventured into uncharted territory: combining Wanda’s incredible cider with the freshest island fruits. In the process, they discovered the four remarkable flavours that comprise the Old Mout range.
