This little-known take on the Martini is one every gin lover needs to try.

Ingredients:

60ml gin
15ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
15ml sugar syrup
7 mint leaves
Ice

Method:

1. In a cocktail shaker, place mint leaves and ice.
2. Add gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup.
3. Shake vigorously.
4. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass, top with mint leaves to garnish and serve.
