Tea is probably the most British beverage there is… other than gin, of course! When porcelain first arrived on our shores from China, it paired perfectly with another import – tea! - and porcelain’s popularity boomed as teapots and teacups became a central feature of British drawing rooms.
June 2019’s Gin of the Month, Nelson’s Gin, is from Stoke-on-Trent - which played a big part in porcelain’s prevalence in the UK - so a big pot of ginny tea party punch is the perfect pairing!

Tea Party Punch
Ingredients:
8 raspberry leaf teabags
1l water, boiled
300ml gin
20 raspberries and a large handful of mint, to garnish
Method:
Steep your tea bags in boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the brew to cool. Once room temperature, pop the tea in the fridge for a couple of hours. Combine with gin and ice in a large punch bowl or jug. Garnish and serve.
Top Tip:
There is a whole host of herbal and fruit teas out there so why not experiment with blackcurrant, lemon, strawberry and elderflower teas? Don’t forget to swap out the garnish!
