It's Oxford v Cambridge... in gin! Which cocktail recipe do you think wins?

It’s the famous Oxford v Cambridge boat race this weekend, so in honour of the historic occasion, we’ve got two easy gin cocktail recipes for you to try. Just pick the one that represents your team and raise a toast to the winners!

THE OXFORD COMMA

Method:

Stir all ingredients (except the lemon peel) with ice, strain and garnish with a lemon twist.

Ingredients:

2 oz of gin
3/4 oz of dry vermouth
1/2 oz herbal liqueur
1 tsp of Maraschino liqueur
1 dash of celery bitters
1 twist of lemon peel , to garnish

GOLDEN MARTINI
(The Cambridge rowing team are the ‘Goldies’)

Method:

Shake and strain all ingredients into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

Ingredients:

40ml Elephant Gin
20ml Genever
10ml Sweet vermouth
5ml Whisky (preferably Talisker)
2.5ml Maraschino liqueur
2 dashes Absinthe
