Rejoice! Gin lovers everywhere. We can now enjoy a gin-based Pornstar Martini thanks to Aldi.

Gone are the days where you would stare longingly at this hugely popular cocktail, just wishing the vodka it's made with was your favourite juniper-led spirit! Us gin lovers can now get in on the Pornstar Martini trend, thanks to good old Aldi, who have concocted a special blend using gin liqueur.

The Aldi Gin Liquer is distilled in only small batches, this Passionfruit Gin Liqueur is fruity, rich and wonderful as a summer cocktail. Perfect as a dessert drink, or poured over crushed ice.

The risque titled cocktail got its name due to the aphrodisiac virtues of one of its key ingredients: Passionfruit.

However, the inventor Douglas Ankrah says his inspiration actually comes from the attributes of a bar. He wanted to make a drink that was sexy, bold and yet playful. 

Well, all we need now is for the sunshine to come back so we can sip our Pornstars alfresco, in style - just as they were meant to be supped!
