You won’t find this paint available in your local Homebase just yet, however you can try it at a number of bars in London (including Mr Fogg's House of Botanicals), Manchester and Edinburgh.
The range will launch with the 'Blue Edition' with more colours to follow and the idea is to paint a stroke of colour on the inside of your glass. You then add your gin and mixer and watch as the paint colours your drink.
While adding a touch of colour to your G&T, the edible paint is also meant to complement the botanicals in your gin.
A novel idea perhaps, but I think we'll stick to more natural ways of adding colour to our G&T's, like beautiful garnishes, dried botanicals, funky ice cubes and even flowers! Why not make your own colour changing gin with our easy and natural method:
Edible gin paint has been produced by Bombay Sapphire, in partnership with Duck & Waffle's head of cocktail department, Rich Woods and food and drink innovator Smith & Sinclair.
