Cocktail: Bakewell Flute

Inspired by the flavours of one of the best ever cake recipes - the Bakewell Tart - this easy - but spectacular - sparkling cocktail brings together fresh raspberries, richly sweet Maraschino cherry liqueur, nutty almond, bubbly prosecco and, of course, gin!

This sparkling, berrylicious cocktail is all of the flavours of an English summer in a glass! We used our June‘19 Gin of the Month , Nelsons Gluggle Jug Gin, to create this crimson beauty. It pairs perfectly with some homemade lemon and gin bakewell tarts!

Bakewell Flute
(Makes one cocktail)

5 raspberries
50ml Nelsons Gluggle Jug gin
25ml Maraschino liqueur
Dash of almond simple syrup
Prosecco, to top up

In a mixing glass, muddle three raspberries. Pour over your gin, maraschino and almond simple syrup with ice. Stir thoroughly until well chilled. Strain into a flute and top up with prosecco. Garnish with two remaining raspberries and serve.
